Abridged History:

Ryan Varney, or RV as he was once affectionately known, tried his best to remove his Clemson bias during his first year as an owner in 2019. The league expanded from 8 to 10 teams, and in order to accommodate that expansion, offered up an expansion draft with exclusive dibs to the rookie pool of 2019. Inexplicably, neither Varney nor other expansion owner Justin Worth picked Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray in the expansion. Varney instead took tight end TJ Hockenson, in what may go down as the worst pick of all time. The immediate impact was felt: Varney finished his inaugural season 8th in the league.
